KDF Takes A Swing Against Breast Cancer

In light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, KDF reminds you that efforts to raise breast cancer awareness are not limited to the month of October. Opportunities to raise awareness are offered year-round.
This July, KDF participated in the PA Breast Cancer Coalition’s “Take A Swing Against Breast Cancer” charity home run derby as both sponsors and members of “Team Thorne”, who ultimately took second place in the derby.
For the charity event, KDF designed and printed a banner for Team Thorne emblazoned with the team’s name and, of course—the famous pink ribbon.
All money raised through the Home Run Derby allows the PA Breast Cancer Coalition to continue supporting and serving breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania.
It was a lot of fun for a great cause,  and we're glad KDF could help out by doing what we do best.

Luxury Vehicle Wraps - Escalade Wrap, Hummer Wrap, Limo Wrap, Sports Car Wrap

Vehicle wraps are the latest innovation to rock the vehicle graphics industry in recent years. When it comes to advertising and branding your business, or simply adding a unique touch to a personal vehicle, wrapping allows for maximum impact and creativity with a surprisingly reasonable price tag.
However, businesses and car owners are often wary of having luxury vehicles wrapped.
"I recently heard someone in the industry refer to vehicle wraps as 'tattoos for your car'," says Stephen Hoey, President of KDF, a leading provider of vehicle graphics and signage to the New York/New Jersey area. "That makes the process sound scarring, irreversible . . . even potentially damaging. No wonder owners of high-end vehicles shy away from the idea."
The truth of the matter is that the wrapping process is safe for any kind of vehicle, whether it's a truck or a tractor trailer; an Escalade, Hummer, limousine or sports car.

KDF Supports the Naked Cowboy for President

KDF is proud to be creating all of The Naked Cowboy's campaign print media for the 2012 presidential election. After more than 12 years of strutting through Times Square sporting nothing but his signature cowboy hat, guitar, and white briefs, the living legend and NYC icon, Naked Cowboy, has set his sights on the Oval Office.
The Naked Cowboy used KDF's print media expertise back in 2009 during his campaign for Mayor of New York City, and again when a line of Naked Cowboy Oysters was introduced by Blue Island Shellfish Farms. After Naked Cowboy decided to run for President, it made perfect sense to have KDF be his exclusive print media provider.
We're pretty sure a naked person of any vocation has never held public office before, much less a Naked Cowboy...so this could be history in the making!
KDF used this body of knowledge to create a custom backdrop and podium for The Naked Cowboy's official announcement of his presidential aspirations which will take place in Times Square tomorrow, Wednesday October 6th, 2010.
Visit NakedCowboy.com for campaign information and more.

KDF Featured Off-Broadway

KDF will be making its off-Broadway debut this October, having supplied the backdrop for the upcoming revival of Tony Kushner's award winning play Angels in America.
Angels in America--originally performed on Broadway in two separate parts in 1993 and 1994 respectively--will be performed in its entirety at the Peter Norton Space in NYC from October 28th 2010 through January 30th 2011. This much anticipated revival is being produced by the Signature Theatre Company, and tickets can be purchased through their website at signaturetheatre.org/angels.
KDF is excited to be expanding into theatrical graphics at this time, especially with a production of this caliber. It is an honor for KDF to have our work displayed onstage alongside such a talented cast in such a profound piece of theatre.

KDF Kicks Off the NFL Football Season with the New York Jets

KDF kicked off the 2010-2011 NFL football season with their newest client, The New York Jets, with whom KDF is currently working to provide large format graphics for more upcoming home games this season.
On display at the Jets season opener against the Baltimore Ravens was a large-scale mural of legendary Jets running back Curtis Martin's 100th career touchdown, by artist Kurt Wenner. When viewed from a specific angle (marked on the floor with a circle reading "Stand Here") the image takes on a three-dimensional appearance.
KDF is proud to be working with an organization as reputable as The Jets, and the New Meadowlands Stadium is an incredible facility. It was fun being part of the opening night festivities!
