Lenticulars are used to create mind-boggling images that appear to jump off the background, or change as the viewer's vantage point changes for unique displays & posters that literally stand out from the competition.

KDF Lays it Down in Black & White at Nike Stadium
Nike Stadium bears the name of the popular athletic wear brand, but it's not what you'd expect. In fact, it's not even an actual stadium. Located on NYC's Bowery, Nike Stadium serves as a progressive forum for performers and artists, and dubs itself "a space where stories are told and others are written". Nike Stadium has six new locations in New York, Berlin, London, Milan, Paris and Tokyo.
KDF created a 10'x14' wall mural for Nike Stadium's New York location, comprised of a collection of small black and white photographs. The photo mural was on display at a recent poetry slam held at the venue.

KDF Sets the Stage at New Meadowlands Stadium
As you may already know, KDF previously installed multiple murals for display at the JETS' home games, as well as a pair of branded blimps at the facility's MetLife entrance. Most recently, we installed graphics around the perimeter of a raised stage also located near the MetLife entrance of the stadium.
We're very proud of the work we've done at the new stadium, and it's been very exciting being a part of its inaugural season. We have a feeling this will not be the last you see of our work at the new stadium!

Branding Through Effective Signage: How To Make The Most of Your Signage
Your business's signage is the ultimate investment, because--unlike you on a bad hair day--your signage doesn't get to wake up the next morning with another shot at turning out correctly. The reality of the situation is that a business will only switch up its signage once in a blue moon, because once an entity has been branded--in a positive light or a negative one--a change in signage can mean starting from scratch when it comes to brand recognition. So when it comes to installing effective signage, whether it's your first time out of the gate or you're upgrading from substandard signage, the pressure is on to get it right.
Here are a few tips on getting it right, and getting the most bang for your buck when it comes to highly effectual, impactful signage.
1. Be Obvious
The first signs as we know them today started cropping up when the majority of the population was still illiterate. Signage would manifest itself in the form of a slab of wood carved in the shape of a shoe outside a cobbler's shop, or a loaf of bread outside of a bakery.
Primitive though it may be, these old-school business owners had the right idea. If your signage is truly effective, passersby should be able to tell at first blush who you are and what you're about. Fortunately for us, we have a few 21st century advantages--widespread literacy for one, and the fact that we now have resources like durable, weatherproof materials and an array of state of the art technologies and techniques to create signage that can speak to your business's very specific audience.
Contemporary counterparts to the hand carved signs of yore are made possible by modern innovations such as the flatbed printer and CNC routing machine. Among other advantages, flatbed printing produces vivid, sharp results on both flexible and rigid substrates in sizes and scales above and beyond the capabilities of standard large format printers. CNC machining--or computer numerical controlled routing--robotically cuts, creases, and perforates substrates with acute precision, giving you complete freedom to fabricate custom shapes and three-dimensional compositions for the most imaginative signage possible.
2. Be Compelling
Do you sell cupcakes? Don't just inform the general public that you sell cupcakes--make them crave your cupcakes through your signage. Textures, dimensions, colors, shapes, and lighting all play into making your signage appealing and engaging to your customers.
Instead of something more cut and dry, why not opt for textured acrylic "frosting" in vibrant bubblegum pink and twinkling sugar "sprinkles" illuminated with LED lights? It's creative, eye-catching and memorable, and most importantly it silently captures and communicates the real-life sensory experience of eating a cupcake. Flatbed and CNC technology makes it possible, and more affordable than you might guess.
3. Be Thorough
Don't drop the ball once patrons walk through your door. Carry your message throughout your establishment with in-store signage, custom displays, wall murals, window graphics and more. Flatbed and CNC technology is ideal for in-store graphics such as these, maximizing room for creativity when it comes to custom retail displays, custom countertops, furniture and more.
Besides giving your business a cohesive, polished look, utilizing similar motifs and schemes from your signage to the floor to the checkout counter provides a three hundred and sixty degree consumer experience, driving your message home and helping to internalize it in your customers.

KDF Soars to New Heights with MetLife Blimps
A pair of blimps in fact, emblazoned with the MetLife logo and the brand's iconic mascot, Snoopy. The set of scaled-down aircraft will be on display at the New Meadowlands Stadium near the entryway sponsored by MetLife.
Prior to the MetLife project, KDF has been doing work at the new stadium on a regular basis for the New York Jets. The facility is extraordinary and totally state-of-the-art, and it's a real honor for us to have our handiwork exhibited there.

KDF Steps Into the Ring with LA Boxing
KDF wrapped an SUV in the franchise’s patriotic color scheme, emblazoned with the gym’s logo and flanked with images of well-toned boxers and the catch phrase, Is there a fighter in you?
Getting a vehicle wrap was definitely a savvy move on LA Boxing’s part. The kind of visibility it offers is incomparable; it’s cost-effective and more eye-catching than more traditional methods of advertising. That kind of branding is priceless, especially for a new business.
Peter Rivera, owner of LA Boxing in Paramus, couldn’t agree more. “I’m very happy with how it turned out, and I really like the design KDF picked out as well," he told us upon picking up his newly wrapped SUV.
The LA Boxing franchise is famous for the “LA Boxing Workout”, which is known to allow gym patrons to burn between 800 and 1,000 calories in a single one-hour session.

KDF Takes A Swing Against Breast Cancer
In light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, KDF reminds you that efforts to raise breast cancer awareness are not limited to the month of October. Opportunities to raise awareness are offered year-round.
This July, KDF participated in the PA Breast Cancer Coalition’s “Take A Swing Against Breast Cancer” charity home run derby as both sponsors and members of “Team Thorne”, who ultimately took second place in the derby.
For the charity event, KDF designed and printed a banner for Team Thorne emblazoned with the team’s name and, of course—the famous pink ribbon.
All money raised through the Home Run Derby allows the PA Breast Cancer Coalition to continue supporting and serving breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania.
It was a lot of fun for a great cause, and we're glad KDF could help out by doing what we do best.
Visit PAHomeRunDerby.org for information on the Take A Swing Against Breast Cancer Home Run Derby, or KDF-Comp.com for information on KDF’s banner printing services and more.

Luxury Vehicle Wraps - Escalade Wrap, Hummer Wrap, Limo Wrap, Sports Car Wrap
However, businesses and car owners are often wary of having luxury vehicles wrapped.
"I recently heard someone in the industry refer to vehicle wraps as 'tattoos for your car'," says Stephen Hoey, President of KDF, a leading provider of vehicle graphics and signage to the New York/New Jersey area. "That makes the process sound scarring, irreversible . . . even potentially damaging. No wonder owners of high-end vehicles shy away from the idea."
The truth of the matter is that the wrapping process is safe for any kind of vehicle, whether it's a truck or a tractor trailer; an Escalade, Hummer, limousine or sports car.
